What does freedom mean ?

What is freedom? How to set oneself free and live in real freedom? Just came back from a workshop in Dreams Possible. Here is my reflection:
1
Freedom and self disciplines, self love must be in alignment if we want to have a sustainable freedom.
2
Without boundary, rules and regulations, without freedom.
3
Freedom is a state, same as happiness; One can't gain freedom from physical satisfaction or getting rid of all rules; Instead, necessary discipline and system is to protect freedom.
4
to unload expectation is the first step to gain freedom;
to have love oneself and self-discipline is to sustain freedom;
5
A person with proactive, happy self-discipline can have real freedom.
6
When I have a sense of freedom?
when I have nothing to fear;
When I have plenty of resources and creativity to solve problems;
whne I can gather my strength to face challenges;
When I have peaceful mind to accept myself
When I can live in difference with an open-mindset;
When I can unload my expectations but not give up my love and passion;
When I can convince others with power and confidence;
When I am working step by step to reach my dreams ...
7
如果没有自律,自由变成放纵;
如果没有负责任的态度,自由会变成伤害;
8
自由的定义每人都可能不一样, 我很任同华山的QUOTE:
化解规范;提升规范,从中将自己的潜能发挥的淋漓至尽.
9
Buddha's definition:
We can only find freedom through embracing conditions that trouble us;
10
From learning NLP theory, I found freedom and happiness can only live in our mind when we love difficulties and enjoy the process of solving problems.

Dreams Possible - a neverland with heart and soul

Why do I love the workshops and DP course? I am yearning to learn how to turn dreams to reality, to help others and myself with strength and resources.

I have attended the workshop many times. Since the first time 2 years ago, I have got a feeling that this is a community that I can grow up with many people who can share, support with one another. I can devote my passion to help others.

I expected the course will integrate all I have learnt in past ten years; focus on more practical tools and intensive practice, helping me to know myself and others better and to give me strength to face challenges ahead.

M heart is filled with thousands of thanks to Red, my good new friend and Dr Chao Wha San and many helpers who have shared their personal experiences with us and me in the workshop.

Gratitude, love and grace are the key to live in happiness, peace and freedom and live fully at this moment, not tomorrow and future,

Hiking in THUNDERSTORM

Beautiful coastline where we hiked along the mountain trial before the storm

I didn't know I was such resilient creature until I was hiking in a thunderstorm during the Mother's DAY last Sunday in the South District of Hong Kong from Wong Nei Chun to Stanley. Lighting and heavy rain continued for almost 30 minutes in the middle way to the destination. I would have thought I must have another serious flu. But I tried to think something positive, becausee I believe if I worry something, something will happen.

I have been sick for more than one month and I had to do some vigorous workout like hiking to get myself out of the poor shape. With pray for sunny day inside my mind, I challenged myself to hike despite the expected unstable weather.

We had four people together in that hiking. All were thoroughly wet even with umbrellas.
The only thing we could do in the mountain trails were running and running to avoid being cold. Lightening and thunders were around us, rains like dogs and cats poured to us. All we thought were to get out of here asap…

Back to home, after drinking ginger water and having a hot bath, dramatically, I found my long-lasting throat pain didn’t get worse but almost disappeared. It was like a magic.

This amazing experience disclosed that if I have no worry, I have less health issues. Most of all, positive thinking and workout is the best medicine to heal our soul and body.

Lesson 2 is: hiking in storm is not fun and should not to take a chance.

Looming lightening and storm around us

New work from Qiu

The power of Humor

b,

Try to use smile esp. when wanting to deliver tough ideas to others ( persuasive power  increases by smiling) or when things are not going well, always smile and you will become much smarter and resourceful.

 Like your father. I and your grand Ma tried so much to convince him to go out to meet people after retirement, he was so repulsive, being  engaged in his "heavy" history at home. Even getting a mobile was a big issue to him no matter how many  people around asking him to have one immediately.

 That state would be definitely damage his health and the family. Then I tried to use humors way, that worked!. He finally went out to see new people. Now he will found Tai Qi and hiking is changing his life and he found more and more, it is him to control his health instead counting his life at such young age.

 So I found if I change my communication way, with more patience, smile instead of worrying tone, a 大男人can be a humble, confident inside-out man gradually...

 mom

Cheer.

Watch your thoughts for they become words.
Watch your words for they become actions.
Watch your actions for they become habits.
Watch your habits for they become your character.

气功的力量

The power of Qigong is whenever I practice, I get inspired from nowhere, probably because of the addition of oxygen. Every time, i get some new brainstorms for my work or personal growth ...

Everyone can influence in our lives, even one word, or a piece of encouragement or praise makes difference. You never know.

Thank you.

Flexibility gains control - Chris's letter

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. ...Be water, my friend.” - Bruce Lee

 Flexible, adaptable, non-attached, present. Some of my greatest lessons in how to roll with the changing nature of life came in Bali.

 It's very difficult to be attached to anything while visiting in Ubud. I remember riding my motorcycle with friends to look at houses I was interested in. Having the motorcycle break down, and then having plans completely change for the entire day, because of the amount of time it takes to get things done, with everyone operating on "Bali-time." So a day of accomplishment turned into a day of hanging out with friends in a local cafe while the motorcycle issues got dealt with; which is nothing out of the ordinary on the island.

 In Jiu Jitsu, I have had to learn to "flow-with-the go," as my dear friend Rickson Gracie was famously quoted as saying. The "game" of Jiu Jitsu is fast paced and constantly changing. What you "expect to do," and actually "end up doing as a response to your opponents actions," are oftentimes very far apart and two entirely different things. Constantly flowing, changing, re-evaluating.

 Being connected, being "in the zone."

 In business, a plan is created, and then that plan meets the tests of the real world. Adapt, evolve, utilize what is given. The inspired entrepreneur sees little difference between obstacle and opportunity. Flexible, adaptable, non-attached, present. Lose yourself in the game.
 Fall in love with the process. Champions are not made in tournaments or the awarding of the belt or the gold medal or the public offering. Breath - be present.
 "The belt costs $7.99 - the knowledge is priceless." - Rorion Gracie

 Love deeply, Shine Brightly, Make every day an extraordinary adventure :)

Experience of Zero Limit

1-5-2012

Speak to yourself every moment when you are happy or sad, excited or frightened.

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjVH-Gxi2S8

 They are -

 I am Sorry;Please forgive me; I love you; Thank you. You can speak to your body part that is not feeling well, or anything or anybody, any issues and your loved one or enemy. The power is unexpectedly relieved, strong and self-assured...You will be giving freedom and peace you never have had and that is your dream, isn't it?

Just back from the talk tonight-

 My findings, completely out of blue...

 Just back from a spiritual workshop: Zero Limit... I never imagined a childhood “issue” can affect my subconsciousness and later life. I thought I have put it down, I thought I had no any jealous mind to anybody. But in my sub- consciousness, my recurrent unpleasant dreams, it reflected I need to get rid it now fundamentally. It has affected my life definitely.
 Say to self, whenever you are feeling nervous, worry, jealous, angry, upset, frightened … You will be stronger, you will find energy from nowhere and you will build charisma, you will attract people around you and happy to share with you their life, and their secrets…

The Power of Zero Limit Practice

The Meditation of Loving Yourself (say to your body to create a peaceful, organically pleasant feelings) did wonders again for my physical issues.

 This morning my throat was on fire.  I wet it with  water and spoke to myself again: I am sorry. It is my fault and I love you. Thank you. My heart was getting crystal clear as a lake similar to  that in Shangeri La-Diqing, China and my pain was vanish until I felt no pain and I could slept again.

 Wonderful feeling again. Like a miracle.

I will do this whenever I have uncomfortable feelings, no matter physically and physically. Let my subconscious energy to activate my inner potential of problem solving and immune system.

Dear Mother,

You are asking me to edit your ENGLISH articles. I have never ever read them in my life and didn't expect too much.

But when I read the two, I was shocked.

 Happy Mothers Day

http://www.graphicshunt.com/images/happy_mothers_day-12848.htm

I didn't know how to edit them as it is completely out of my expectation. That is the power of immersion and teaching method in the USA, most of all, it is your life-long learning spirit that drives you improve, growing up relentlessly. I was so moved by your essays and your continuous improvement, in my mind, you stay young from inside out because you have a beautiful mindset.

We can't have any excuse to say I am too old or too poor to learn anything now if a grandmother at age 75 still curious (like Andrew)  about life around the world. The thing is you just learn anything with madly high standard... But that  is you, simply enjoying the process and the result  follows you.

What a beautiful Mother's Day gift it is to me!

Quality of life v.s self talks

My blog-
The quality of life can be predicted and measured by how many positive, constructive ideas, thoughts filled in and flashing through in our mind every minute. This is my finding. The more negatives, the worse is that day. The more positives, the happier is that day. How to get rid of negatives and turn it to be constructive, for me, by reading, going to concerts, attending great seminars, watching movies and doing workout, dancing, sharing, doing creative things, like writing and creating websites...
