Learning from children

B,

Last night, I was hooked in BBC outlook again:
A boy without arms:

This 19 year-old boy just got his U offer in Computer as a major with top scores in South Africa.  In the interview, he shares his experience and outlook for life - focus ,determine, and discipline "I know how to prioritise my time." He  always gets Inspiration from Nelsen Madelle who believed in Freedom and fought  for it; he got it. "So if you believe in something and fight for it, you will definitely get it," he said.

I just feel that we with perfect limbs tend to find excuse for our mistakes or blame others for our failures, that is the reasons we repeat the mistakes again. Look at Nick Vujicic and the boy, we will have no excuse next time.

He got so many people to help him in his school and many treated him as normal person. He himself believes in himself a normal, despite some teases and bullies.

Another schoolgirl -
The Pakistani schoolgirl whose anti-Taliban diary won her a peace award.

Malala Yusafzai from Mingora in Pakistan's Swat Valley. She describes how her life was changed by an online diary she wrote for BBC Urdu in 2009 when she was just 11 years old. At that time, Swat was under Taliban control and girls' education was banned.

Malala's dairy reminded me of an invitation from BBC OUTLOOK four years ago asking me to write daily life in Hong Kong in blog form to BBC outlook. I finally didn't take the offer for I thought my English was too poor be read by public.

Her story proves I was wrong -

1.Don't look down yourself and never say I can't if others say you CAN!. Seize golden opportunity because it will not often to occur.

I bet my English might have improved greatly if I had accepted the "job" for BBC. And my dream in writing would be on the way to come true.

2.Also, from the Presentation Skill Course in which everyone achieved to make their best-time 45-min talk show, I have realised the most difficult thing is determination from your heart, deep heart - in subconscious mind.  Once you have determined, everything is on the way to be done because if you enjoy in doing it, you will find all resources to make it, including strategy, methods and help.

3.Ordinary people can make a change of the world - like the primary school girl, she uses her diary to save so many people's lives in the area controlled by Taliba and save girls' right to school. Her English wasn't good enough for English native speakers but her voice brought about peace and freedom to the people of her area and protect girls' right to school.

The humorous movie THREE IDIOTS tells all parents and children: Don't chase for marks, fame and the key to success is not to go shortcut but -

1 Find, create your interest and turn it to your passion (subconsciously) and turn your passion into value for people

2 You can only make success by pursuing excellence via practicing and trying and error, then success will chase you.

3 Or You don't have to chase success, you just sharpen your profession and success will follow you automatically.

4 All you need is to achieve it is to commit, focus and discipline.

5 If you worry for tomorrow, you can't focus on today's study and life. Then tomorrow is always a worrying thing because you are too fearful too do things well.

But if you focus on today, you have no worry for tomorrow because you deserve for good results, which chases you.

Hopefully you can get somethings inspiring from the above sharing.
